Technicians can now adjust task pricing directly within the Tech App. This new feature enables quick and accurate updates to pricing on-site, ensuring invoices reflect any changes made during the job. It streamlines the workflow and improves transparency with customers.
Enabling the Setting
This setting will allow for your technicians to alter the pricing of tasks applied to Quotes in the Tech App.
To enable the setting, navigate to Company > Settings > Pricing/Finance.
Switch the toggle next to Task Pricing Adjustment in the Technician App to On and select the Save button.
Adjusting Task Prices in the Tech App
With the setting above enabled, the technicians will be permitted to adjust any task assigned to a Quote within the Tech App.
Adjust the price by on a line item by changing the price in the Per Unit field on the task line item.
Note: A note will be entered in the job detailing the price adjustments made in the Tech App.
Auditing Price Adjustments
A new column has been added to the Sold Line Item report called Task Price Adjustment. This will allow you to identify for tracking and training purposes the line items that have been adjusted within the Tech App.
