Restock Orders
Restock Orders are used in Inventory to track the order of more of a certain product(s).
The list of Restock Orders will contain a reference number (generated automatically by Sera), the name, order date, product(s), vendor and the status.
Creating New Restock Orders
To create a new Restock order you will go to Company --> Inventory --> Restock Orders and select the New Restock Order button. This will prompt you for fields such as Name, Vendor Name, Order date, Notes and products to order. You can track the order of one or multiple products in the same restock order.
Editing Existing Restock Orders
You can edit an existing Restock Order by selecting the Reference number or by selecting Edit from the three dots menu. This is how you will mark that items are received within this order. You can partially or fully receive the order depending on how many of the item were entered. Entering the amount will automatically increase the quantity available in your inventory tracking and will enter a note in the recent activity for the update.
Closing a Restock Order
An inventory order will systematically go to closed once the items have all been marked as fully received or if the user marks that the items are no longer needed.
You can reopen an order at any time by selecting the Reopen Order option from the three dots menu.
If you no longer intend to receive the items at all, you can mark the order with this designation by clicking the No longer receiving these items hyperlink. This will close the order and you can choose to leave it or delete it.
