Users must provide the Sera Team with a copy of their data entered in our Data Templates to import data into Sera. To obtain the templates, contact your account manager at Sera or email help@sera.tech
Follow the instructions below to extract data from your old system, and use the information to populate the templates given to you by your account manager.
Customers Report

From the left-hand navigation menu, select Reports —> Customers.

Click the Filters drop-down. Select All Dates. Click Apply.

Click in the white space beside Your Customers + Notes. A hamburger menu will appear on the far right. Click the hamburger menu and select Download Data.
Invoices Report

- From the left-hand navigation menu, select Reports —> Jobs.
- Click the Filters drop-down. Select All Dates. Under Status, select Select Displayed.
- Click Apply.

Scroll down to the “All Jobs Created in selected Date Range and Statuses” report. This should be the first report.

Scroll down to below the graphs. Click in the white space beside Invoices Created in the Date Range. A hamburger menu will appear on the far right. Click the hamburger menu. Select Download Data.
From the left-hand navigation menu, select Reports —> Billing. Click the Filters drop-down. Select All Dates. Click Apply.
Jobs Report
💡 You can only download up to 2500 lines at a time. It is important to know how far your data goes back so that you can get all of the needed data. You may need to pull this report in chunks.
The Jobs Report is needed for addresses and Job Notes. You will need to use a VLOOKUP on the Job Number on the invoice file to grab the notes and addresses from the Jobs Report.

Scroll down to below the graphs. Click in the white space beside Invoices Created in the Date Range. A hamburger menu will appear on the far right. Click the hamburger menu. Select Download Data.
- Click in the white space like you did for the Invoice Report. The hamburger menu will appear. From the hamburger menu, select Download Data.
