Sometimes, customers will need to have a PO Box as a billing address in Sera. Addresses in Sera need to be geolocated, but a user can enter a PO Box as a billing address with a few simple steps.
First, either create your customer or navigate to the customer that needs to have a PO Box as their billing address.
Click on Address Actions to add a new address, if applicable. If a user is creating a new customer, the system will already ask for a new address.
Select the Billing Address toggle and then select the Enter Manually hyperlink. Enter the details in the split boxes for Street, City, State and Zip Code, name the location name, and choose a location type. Click Save.
Because a PO Box is NOT a geolocated address, the system will mark the address card as “Unable to Schedule”. Because this address will only be used for billing, you will not be able to schedule any jobs and/or appointments for it. If you decide you need to alter this address over time, you can always edit the address through the address card.
