Sometimes, customers will need to have a PO Box as a billing address in Sera. Addresses in Sera need to be Geolocated, but a user can enter a PO Box as a billing address with a few simple steps.
First, either create your customer or navigate to the customer that needs to have a PO Box as their billing address.
Click on Address Actions to add a new address, if applicable. If a user is creating a new customer, the system will already ask for a new address.
Enter the PO Box information in the address bar, name the location name, and choose a location type. Click Save.
Because a PO Box is NOT a geolocated address, the system will ask you to pin the address. You are welcome to pin it to any address. We recommend pinning it to your office address or a post office around you, if applicable. Because this address will only be used for billing, you are welcome to pin this address to anywhere relevant.
Once saved, the PO Box will appear as the Location Name.
