Check When Technician's GPS Was Last Updated
To check when your technician's GPS was last updated, click on the department in which the technician is housed, and select technicians. On the right-hand side of the table, you can see when their GPS was last updated. If this date is not expected, chances are that the technician disabled their location settings.
Turn on Location Settings on the Tech's iPad
To turn on location settings, an admin should check two places - the Sera App's location settings and the general location settings for the iPad. First, check the general location settings. On your iPad, click on Settings and click on Privacy and Security. Ensure the Location Services is on.
If that setting is on, you will also need to check the settings for the Sera App. Scroll down the menu on the left-hand side and click on Sera Tech. Ensure that the Sera Tech's location setting is on either While Using or Always. Sometimes, a popup will appear from Apple in the Sera Tech app telling the technician the app is using their location. Techs will sometimes disable their location when this popup appears.
